How does Invisalign work?

Once we confirm that Invisalign is a suitable treatment for your specific requirements, the dentists at Park Street Dental Clinic will use the latest technology to create a 3D scan of your teeth using the iTero intraoral scanner, which allows you to see how your teeth will look during and after treatment.

When your aligners are ready, we’ll fit you with your first custom made set and then, every two weeks, you’ll change to a slightly different aligner until teeth are gradually moved into place. Regular checks will ensure they’re moving in the right direction throughout the treatment period.

How long does Invisalign take?

The process will vary depending on your individual case – most simple cases can be completed in just 6-12 months and more complicated cases within 1-2 years.
